clickbank is really a great tool for marketers. The only thing I have against CB at the moment is that they have allowed lots of low quality and perhaps scams enter into their system.
Non the less you can still find great quality products and services on CB to promote.

I really think creating and selling eBooks is one of those under rated money making methods. These days it is so easy to research and find all the necessary information on any subject that almost anyone can create an eBook on any subject.

Some valuable thoughts here, although I think that an AdSense CTR of 5% is just a bit optimistic. Maybe I’m just in the wrong niche or using the wrong ad types, but I’m shocked anytime my CTR exceeds 1%.

Concerning number 5 I actually read a post recently that said to delete any older posts and not allow commenters to post on older content and I thought this was crazy! I have content from two yeasrs ago on my blog that still brings in commission sales!

For a newbie, it’s also important to consider the competitiveness of a niche. Usually, the lucrative ones are so competitive, and might be best to go after low hanging fruit to have some early successes.
