Any beginner who starts to think about monetizing their blog thinks of AdSense. But do you know that if you can’t drive 10,000 visitors a day to your blog, you can barely earn something worthy of all your effort?

This article will show you how to monetize a blog that works for any kind of niche. We are not going to talk about AdSense. What I am going to show you is the method that great bloggers use on their blog.

1. Start your blog with one purpose in mind. It should function as lead generator. Create unique and original topics that will greatly help users on their search for information. Just give them a sample and ask them to sign up on your blog using their email address for more details. Offer it for free.

To generate your list, you will need a program that will capture and keep the email addresses. It is the same program that will also send a series of messages to the people on the list. It is called autoresponder. What I use personally is AWeber which is also what most bloggers use. For $20 a month, everything about this process can be done in autopilot. You just need to set it up and forget about it.

2. Once you capture an email address, start monetizing your blog by sending the new subscriber with a free video or eBook. At the end of the lecture, give them a One Time Offer (OTO) that will only cost them $10. Do not offer anything that will cost them more than $10 or you might lose your credibility. Do not send them to your sales page right away.

3. Continue building your relationship by sending more email with good information that will benefit them. At some point, you can even ask them to visit your blog once more to read about an article that has received a lot of visits.

4. Once you gain their trust, offer some of your affiliate products that you have actually tried. Tell them about your experience with it and the reason why you highly recommend the product to them. But do not rush everything. It is important that you make them happy first with the freebies and information that you are sending them. Once they put their confidence on you, it will be easy for them to purchase anything that you recommend.

As you grow your blog, your email list grows with it. At first, you might not need a special program to handle them. But when you come to a point when you are finding it difficult to update and promote your blog, plus send email to the people on your list, do everything in autopilot.

If you are the type of person who is not comfortable at selling, you can endorse products without your reader thinking that you are selling. Insert your affiliate links on your blog posts. You don’t have to publish an article that tells readers how great a product is. You can have the links inserted on posts that cover instructions, tips, and guidelines. Use keywords as anchor text that when they click on that text, they will be redirected to the advertiser’s website. Make sure that you are endorsing a product that your reader will be interested to use and learn about.

Example:

My topic is about blog promotion and I decided to post about tips in article marketing. Part of the content can go like this:

“…if you do not have time to create a minimum of 10 articles, you can use a spinner. It is a program that will reproduce your article using synonymous words that creates an entirely new article. I use xxxspinner for my own writings. But if you will be using the same spinner, I suggest that you check the spun article word per word….”

Use xxxspinner as your anchor text that links to your affiliate product.

Does it sound like you are selling something?

Most bloggers earn 5 digits using that method. So if you want to earn from your blog, learn to sell creatively.
